One of the most iconic support items of the Finnish Motorcycle Museum in Lahti, which recently celebrated its 15th anniversary, is the highly sought-after collectible museum brick. The brick originates from the historic Mallasjuoma brewery building.
During the museum’s expansion, 60 original bricks were individually numbered, engraved with the museum’s logo, and personally signed by Giacomo Agostini. They were auctioned to help finance the expansion project. The very last brick – No. 60 – was reserved for a special occasion, and that moment has now arrived.
Fifty percent (50%) of the proceeds from the sale of the final Motorcycle Museum brick will be donated to road racer Erno Kostamo (#38Motorsport Erno Kostamo) to support his recovery following his accident. The remaining 50% will go towards supporting the Finnish Motorcycle Museum.
“We have also received support over the years, so now we want to give something back and help others,” says Riku Routo, owner of the Finnish Motorcycle Museum.
Brick No. 60 is also a tribute to the legendary Imatranajo, which will be held for the 60th time this year.
The brick will be sold to the highest bidder and presented to its new owner during the Imatranajo event.
In addition to this unique collectible, the winning bidder will receive an all-inclusive trip to Bergamo, Italy, to meet the Finnish Motorcycle Museum’s patron, Giacomo Agostini—the 15-time World Champion and the most successful Grand Prix motorcycle racer of all time.
The prize also includes exclusive access to Ago’s private museum, where visitors can explore the complete history of his remarkable racing career, including motorcycles, trophies, memorabilia, and personal collections.
Brick No. 60 will be on display at the Imatranajo Pop-Up Store from Wednesday, 24 June onwards.
