A rider lost his life in IRRC superbike class

A rider lost his life today on sunday in the IRRC series Imatranajo race. The rider lost control of his bike on the formation lap of the IRRC Superbike race. The start was immediately cancelled.

The organizer and The Finnish Motorcycle Union wishes to express their heartfelt condolences to the family and fellow riders.

The Finnish Motorcycle Union has set up an investigation board. The police are also investigating the incident.

There will be additional announcements by the investigation board on monday.
